Manjit's restaurant is located on the famous Darling Street in Balmain and has been established since 1984. From the moment you enter the front door you will begin to enjoy your experience of dining in at Manjit's.

Manjit's truly believe enjoying your meal does not only mean eating tasty food. It is our priority to ensure everything from your surroundings, your service, the preparation and presentation of your meal goes towards the enjoyment of your dining experience.

Manjit's restaurant has regulary served meals to many Australian and international celebrities. Some of our guests have included Linda Kozlowski, The Two Ronnies, Olivia Newton-John, Mark Taylor, amd many other personalites. We have been highly praised with reviews from The Sydney Morning Herald, Daily Telegraph, The Good Food Guide and many other food reviews.

The restaurant has recently been renovated with theme set to ensure you feel like royalty. It's colours are of soft earthy reds, complemented by paintings to resemble Khajuraho with poses of Kama-Sutra. All this, with dedicated waiter service, a fully licensed bar and the finest Indian food prepared in authentic style you will be sure to enjoy the decadent pleasure of dining in at Manjit's. Should you wish to, you can also enjoy your food on the front verandah of the restaurant whilst still enjoying all the services of the restaurant. It is our aim to ensure that you first enjoy the food with your eyes, then your nose and finally with your mouth.
